Italian jewellery brand Serafino Consoli, founded in 1959, showcased some of its signature creations at Torres’ flagship store on Lisbon’s Avenida da Liberdade during an exclusive event held on July 1st. The occasion also celebrated a decade-long partnership between the two family-owned companies.
“Serafino Consoli is a Made in Italy brand dedicated to high jewellery. We combine the tradition of Italian goldsmithing with the excellence of engineering and technology. What does that mean? It means we create true inventions. We produce dynamic jewellery and are recognised around the world for our ‘wow’ effect,” said Mauro Milesi, Marketing Director.
As part of its commitment to strengthening its presence in the Portuguese market, the brand unveiled its latest creations in Portugal for the very first time, including the UNICO concept. The world’s first multi-size solitaire ring, UNICO is customisable and versatile, designed to be worn on any finger, individually, as a couple or to celebrate a special milestone.

Members of the Serafino Consoli team, guests, clients and members of the press had the opportunity to try on a selection of pieces from the brand’s current portfolio, renowned for combining engineering, design and traditional craftsmanship. They were also able to experience UNICO’s unique adaptability, as the ring effortlessly adjusts to different finger sizes “without any springs or elastic bands.”
“There are other expandable pieces of jewellery in this sector, but no one has been able to create something like this using only technology and engineering after many years of research and development,” added Mauro Milesi about the UNICO concept.
“It is the world’s first and only multi-size solitaire. It shares the same DNA as all our jewellery, while incorporating a solitaire diamond at the centre of the ring,” he explained. UNICO is available in two distinct lines: the white diamond collection, where customers can choose the gold colour (white, rose or yellow), the diamond weight (from 30 points up to one and a half carats) and the setting style (fully pavé, centre-only or partially pavé), and the black diamond collection.

“It is something completely new to the market and a truly genderless opportunity. Our goal is not only to appeal to the bridal segment traditionally associated with solitaire rings, but also to explore new horizons, evolve current trends and introduce the solitaire into many other occasions,” he concluded.
Serafino Consoli is also home to other iconic collections, including the Brevetto Collection. Brevetto is the Italian word for patent, reflecting the fact that every Serafino Consoli creation is patented. Developed more than 15 years ago, the collection is built around the multi-size concept.
“We create rings and pendants that can change shape and adapt to whichever finger the wearer chooses. They follow your life, your emotions and your style, adapting naturally to you,” explained Mauro Milesi.

Meanwhile, the Serafino Collection features the brand’s signature rings that transform into bracelets, including creations such as Bellezza, where the number of rows increases from the base to the top, and Grande Bellezza, where the number of rows remains the same while the size of the diamonds gradually increases from two to sixteen points.
“It is our masterpiece and the highest expression of our craftsmanship. It is incredibly complex to create and took many years to develop,” noted the Marketing Director about this multi-size piece that transforms into a bracelet “without any springs, using only gold and precious stones.”
All Serafino Consoli creations are designed to be mixed and matched by both women and men, reflecting the brand’s identity as a genderless jewellery brand. Each piece is made up of hundreds of components and thousands of precision welds.
These multifunctional and transformable jewellery creations are available in Lisbon at the Torres flagship store on Avenida da Liberdade, as well as in Cascais at the Alameda dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra and Rua Frederico Arouca boutiques.
