June 21 at Les Prés D’Eugénie: the first major event of the summer

On 21 June, Les Prés d’Eugénie will usher in the summer season with a major event dedicated to conviviality, fine food, and music. To mark Fête de la Musique, the country palace hotel will open its gardens to residents of the Landes region, visitors, and friends of Les Prés d’Eugénie for a day celebrating the art of living so dear to Michel Guérard.

Beneath centuries-old trees, amid golden light, lingering conversations, and gourmet delights, this first major summer celebration invites guests to fully embrace the season in the unique atmosphere of Eugénie-les-Bains.

A musical atmosphere in the heart of the gardens

From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Toulouse-based acoustic duo LOOMA will perform in the gardens of Les Prés d’Eugénie to celebrate Fête de la Musique. A radiant meeting of two voices, a guitar, and infectious energy, LOOMA effortlessly blends pop, rock, and soul through reimagined covers and heartfelt performances.

With just two performers, Eva Roger and Gregory Castanet create a remarkably rich soundscape, enhanced by harmonies, a looper, and subtle percussion. Capable of transforming an intimate concert into a truly festive occasion, they possess the rare talent of making audiences want to stay a little longer, listen a little more, and savour the joys of summer.

A breath of fresh air at the bar

For the occasion, Les Prés d’Eugénie will also unveil its new cocktail menu, created in collaboration with Jérémy Lauilhé, Meilleur Ouvrier de France Bartender and a native of the Landes region.

Conceived as an invitation to travel and refreshment, this collection of creations brings together fruits, flowers, spices, and citrus notes through recipes that are as refined as they are thirst-quenching.

Among this season’s signature cocktails are:

  • L’Été sur le Bassin – a floral blend of Lillet Blanc, apricot, and jasmine;
  • Belle Créole – an indulgent combination of rum, strawberry, rhubarb, coconut, and lime;
  • Salammbô – bright and citrus-driven;
  • La Païva – deeper in character with subtle bergamot notes.

Non-alcoholic cocktail enthusiasts have not been forgotten, with a selection of distinctive mocktails including Jardins Céladon, Le Fumoir, Rouge Assouan, and Saïgon, l’après-midi.

And since summer days are meant to linger, guests will also be able to enjoy lunch or dinner on site: a Healthy Menu at the Michelin-starred L’Orangerie restaurant, or one of the Maison’s dining options according to the mood of the moment.

Come for a drink, stay for the music, and linger for dinner — perhaps the perfect way to celebrate Fête de la Musique.
