Legacy Ithos is now open and welcoming guests for its first summer season. Located on the island’s coast, Legacy Ithos makes the most of its elevated setting, with panoramic views stretching across the Atlantic and Porto Santo Beach. The setting invites guests to embrace the slower pace of island life, from peaceful mornings by the sea to afternoons by the outdoor pool and evenings spent exploring the island.
Guests can choose to simply relax on the private beach and by the hotel’s pools or discover Porto Santo through carefully curated experiences, including jeep tours and private excursions, with shuttle and private transport services also available.

With just 28 thoughtfully designed rooms, Legacy Ithos combines exclusivity, privacy and sophistication in an intimate setting. The contemporary interiors are complemented by locally inspired elements, including references to Porto Santo’s distinctive architecture, with its Porto Santo sand-coloured walls, and its minimalist aesthetic.
Each room features a private terrace overlooking the gardens or the sea, creating a harmonious connection between the interiors and the surrounding natural environment.
ORIGO 34
ORIGO 34 is a 110-seat beachfront restaurant that celebrates the flavours and culinary identity of Porto Santo. Guided by a “sea-to-table” and “farm-to-table” philosophy.
ORIGO 34’s cuisine is born from the meeting of Chef Manuel Santos’ vision and that of award-winning Chef Diogo Rocha, who has been awarded a Michelin star. While Manuel Santos draws on tradition and the region’s authentic flavours, Diogo Rocha brings a contemporary approach, in which technique, sustainability and respect for the product play a central role. Together, they create a cuisine that celebrates the identity of Porto Santo, reinterpreting it with creativity and a contemporary language.
The menu highlights fresh fish and seafood, local and seasonal produce, as well as the simplicity and authenticity of Portuguese gastronomy. A carefully selected range of wines and cocktails completes the experience, all served with panoramic views over the ocean.
ORA Spa and Wellness
Inspired by the regenerative power of the ocean and the recognised therapeutic properties of Porto Santo’s mineral-rich sands, ORA – Oceanic Regenerative Academy is at the heart of Legacy Ithos’ wellness offering.
