Ford is writing a new chapter in its history in Europe, where its iconic past and electric future meet with renewed confidence. With the new electric Capri and the all-electric Explorer, the blue oval brand shows that electrification is not just a technological change, but a true cultural revolution — made of emotional design, innovation, and a clear vision of sustainable mobility.
Both models represent more than just new releases: they reflect Ford’s European strategy, focused on full electrification, reducing the environmental footprint, and a smarter relationship between the driver and the car. Competitive range, optimized charging times, and advanced driver assistance systems reinforce the idea that the electric future can—and should—be practical, exciting, and accessible. With the electric Capri and Explorer, Ford proves that electrification doesn’t mean giving up emotion, character, or heritage. On the contrary: it means reinventing them.
THE CAPRI

The return of the Capri is perhaps the most symbolic gesture of this transformation. A name that has marked generations is reborn, now reinterpreted as an electric crossover with elegant lines and a sporty character. Maintaining the rebellious spirit that made it legendary, the new Capri boasts a modern, aerodynamic, and sophisticated silhouette, designed for an audience that values both aesthetics and efficiency. Inside, technological minimalism dominates, with intuitive digital interfaces and quality materials, reflecting a new idea of conscious luxury. Available in rear-wheel or all- wheel drive versions and with power outputs reaching 340 hp, the electric Capri offers dynamism, versatility, and practicality for everyday life, without sacrificing performance and style. The range is impressive, as is the spaciousness and overall quality of all materials; we’ve become fans of this Capri!
THE EXPLORER

The electric Explorer presents itself as the more adventurous face of this revolution. Robust, functional, and clearly designed for urban life and beyond, this electric SUV combines space, comfort, and cutting-edge technology. It’s a car designed for modern families, travelers, and everyday explorers, offering a quiet, connected, and safe driving experience—without compromising the strong identity that has always defined the Explorer name. The new Ford Explorer is offered in versions with power outputs up to 340 hp (250 kW) in the all-wheel-drive configuration, while the rear-wheel-drive option can reach 286 hp (210 kW) — figures that guarantee vigorous driving and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 5.3 seconds in the most powerful version. Furthermore, this electric SUV boasts a WLTP range of over 600 km on a single charge, ideal for both long journeys and daily use, and can recharge from 10% to 80% in about 26 minutes with high-power fast charging, making it competitive in the large family electric vehicle segment.
