We can invest in the best brands. In luxury lotions, in the most powerful serums, in trendy acids. We can even religiously follow a skincare routine with dozens of steps. But if the skin is not truly clean — deeply clean — none of this will work as promised. In this edition, we will understand the “Urgency of Deep Skin Cleansing”.
Our skin breathes. And, like any living organism, it needs space to function. Over the course of a day, makeup residue, pollution, sweat, oil and dead cells accumulate on the surface, creating a thick layer — known as the stratum corneum — that acts as an invisible barrier. This barrier prevents the active ingredients in products from penetrating, suffocating the skin and compromising its natural regeneration.
More than just a matter of aesthetics, not cleansing your skin deeply is a matter of skin health. Clogged pores are often the silent causes of persistent acne, blemishes, premature aging and even expression lines that worsen over time. Congested skin is tired skin — dull and lifeless.
Deep skin cleansing in the salon should be done every 30 to 45 days, depending on the skin type and needs. It does not replace daily home care, but enhances it. It is a kind of reset, where the skin returns to its ideal state to absorb, breathe and renew. And, when done with care, technique and sensitivity, this cleansing does not harm the skin – it regenerates.
Because there is a difference between putting products on the skin and taking care of the skin. And it starts with understanding that beauty is not created only with makeup or expensive creams, but with free, clean and prepared skin. Aesthetics is not just about appearance – it is science, it is prevention and it is self-love applied in layers.
