Portuguese footwear brand Atlanta Mocassin has opened a new store in Porto, the city where the brand was founded in 1987, strengthening its connection to the place that shaped its identity. Located in Boavista, at Rua Felizardo de Lima, 138, the new space celebrates Portuguese shoemaking tradition, craftsmanship and the attention to detail that define the brand.
Designed by architect Francisco Moura of Luppa Architects, the store features a minimalist and timeless aesthetic, allowing the products to take centre stage. From the leathers used in production to the packaging and carefully considered details throughout the space, every element creates a visual narrative that brings visitors closer to the materials and the craftsmanship behind each piece.
The return to Porto represents a significant moment for Atlanta Mocassin, strengthening its presence in Portugal while offering customers a more intimate and immersive experience of the brand. One of the store’s distinctive features is its moccasin personalisation service, allowing customers to select from different colours, textures and types of leather to create unique pieces that reflect their individual identity.
The opening was celebrated with an intimate gathering of family, friends and close collaborators, also marking Atlanta Mocassin’s 38th anniversary. Guests were invited to witness a live demonstration of hand stitching, highlighting the artisanal and human dimension that remains at the heart of every pair of Atlanta Mocassin shoes. The new store is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 7pm.
