PROFESSIONAL INSPIRATION

It may sound cliché, but in reality inspiration comes from work and seeing people satisfied, whether they are customers, colleagues or partners. I try to make other people’s lives better through my work.

THE THREE PILLARS OF LIFE

Family, honesty and sincerity.

SECOND PROFESSIONAL CHOICE

If I weren’t in the hotel industry I would probably be in the finance department of some other business area, due to my adaptability. If I could “dream”, something linked to motorsport (mechanics, driver, management).

THREE PEOPLE WHO MADE MY CAREER

The three personalities who most impacted me throughout my professional career were Gonçalo Gonçalves, my general director at Bairro Alto Hotel, Sandra Resende, my support and supervisor in my first real job in the financial sector and two others together, Ana Maria Tavares, former director of Farol Hotel for opening the doors to the hotel industry for me and Gonçalo Fernandez who accompanied me (more or less closely) throughout my career.

MAIN HOBBY

There are several actually – reading on the beach, Sporting Clube de Portugal and the F1 and MotoGP races at the weekend.

TODAY I WOULD GO TO

My dream destination has changed over time, it is the place where I feel good. If I could leave today, I would go to the Dominican Republic for the fourth time. It’s a country that fascinates me due to the simplicity of the people, friendliness and beaches, especially Saona Island.
