La Table du Marché is one of the most emblematic spaces in Marrakesh, not only due to the exclusivity of being a fusion restaurant, where French and Moroccan cuisine shines under the care of the renowned executive chef Fouad Zorgui, but also for the excellence of service, where the tradition and modernity combine harmoniously in a trendy and intimate environment.
Located at the Hivernage Hotel & Spa, in the heart of the Hivernage neighborhood, this is a distinctive restaurant that offers a menu made with the best local products and dishes that meet the most diverse palates. Regardless of the time, the atmosphere is welcoming and varies depending on the day and night, but the sunny terrace and the smile of those who welcome us are a constant.
Lunches are relaxed, with moments of sharing at the table and the Sunday Brunch is simply divine, with constant entertainment and live music with local artists. This is an excellent opportunity to taste various delicacies, not only Moroccan specialties but also a varied offer of sushi, pizza and even a live station with pasta. Desserts, with international taste, are the perfect way to sweeten our day.
At night, the atmosphere is transformed and dinners are served in a calmer and more intimate atmosphere, with elegance in the decoration and subdued light. The menu transports us to French cuisine revisited with Moroccan influences, a journey of unexpected and unique flavors that is constantly reinvented. Highlights include the Lamb Tajine with plums, apricots and almonds or the Chicken and Almond Pastilla. But the desserts also deserve a worthy mention for the subtlety of their preparation where the simple can shine through an Apple Afternoon with Salted Caramel or a Mille-Feuille with Pistachio Praline and Vanilla Ice Cream.
Right next door, we couldn’t miss trying the specialties at Gourmet Market Hivernage, a very relaxed space in the format of a Boutique-Café, a true “must” for connoisseurs and unconditional lovers of traditional pastries and bakeries. This is the only space in Marrakech that sells the ex-libris of Portuguese pastries, our famous Pastéis de Nata. Ideal for a quick meal and with a menu of light dishes, coffees, teas and natural juices. On the top floor, the Boudoir allows you to socialize peacefully and in comfort, equipped with a Business Corner and Wifi. Attentive and professional service is a constant in all La Table du Marché spaces and we are sure we will return. An unmissable experience and an inevitable meeting point for gourmets in Marrakech.
