This year, Wyndham Grand Algarve celebrates Easter with an exceptionally special three-day program that provides unforgettable family moments and sweet memories for everyone. The suggestion involves gastronomic moments at the table, live music, interpretive tours, wellness moments and super fun activities for children at the Kids Club.
From the 29th to the 31st of March, the Wyndham experiences moments of great activity and launches the invitation for a retreat in the heart of the Ria Formosa. The Easter program is a celebration of precious moments, focused on stopping, savoring the little big moments and being with your favorite people. Surrounded by the traditions of Good Friday and the gastronomic richness of Easter Sunday lunches, the Good Friday Buffet and Brunch Easter Sunday are two moments that you cannot miss.
On March 29th, music dictates the starting point for the party! From 7pm onwards, the Good Friday Buffet begins at Caravela Restaurant with live music by Anna Hellys. The options are very varied and for all tastes. Starters and Salads are available – with no shortage of shrimp patties, Algarve salad, cod pastries, marinated mussels or the traditional Algarve gazpacho – but also Sauces and Condiments and a selection of hot dishes, including fish soup in the style of fishermen, Tavira’s octopus, Guia’s roast chicken with piri-piri sauce or the unmissable Algarve fish and seafood Cataplana, which will be prepared in the live kitchen. Children will have a special corner just for them with a children’s menu and desserts include Easter Cake and Almonds or Sponge Cake with egg cream and cinnamon.
At 8:00 pm, you can choose the Grand Bar & Lounge, which features Live Music by Paulo João (voice and piano) or the Dinner with Live Music by Christina Cerry at the XXL Restaurant. In turn, on March 30th, the entertainment is guaranteed once again by the voice and piano of Paulo João (at the Grand Bar & Lounge) and Dany Tavares at the XXL Restaurant.
On the 31st, we celebrate Brunch Easter Sunday at Caravela Restaurant, starting at 12pm, with live music by Anna Hellys. This fabulous Brunch includes a Selection of Breads and Viennoiserie, Simple and Composed Salads – with a varied selection of ingredients – Sauces and Condiments, Live Cooking and a Selection of Hot Dishes – with emphasis on Prawn Feijoada, Portuguese or Parrillada Steak of Mixed Fish. For desserts, the highlight is the traditional Easter Cake, Sweet-Rice Pudding or Honey Pudding, not forgetting the little ones who enjoy the Almonds and Chocolate Eggs.
During your stay, the Wyndham Grand Algarve offers moments of happiness in the middle of the Ria Formosa with a proposal to slow down the pace by immersing yourself in the tranquility of the Natural Park through an Interpretive Walk. A guided tour of the most and least explored corners of the Ria, unveiling the ecosystem and its natural heritage. But you can also opt for a moment of wellness with a visit to the Grand Spa for an unforgettable relaxation experience.
The little ones always have a special place in the Kids Club and this year the classic Egg Hunt is back where Mr. Rabbit will hop around the Kids Club distributing the magic of Easter through all the activities, from Traditional Games to the Reptile Show, Bouncy Castle and the long-awaited Cinema and Popcorn Session.
This Easter, choosing the Wyndham Grand Algarve in Quinta do Lago means being sure to enjoy an exclusive stay in a destination with breathtaking nature, a welcoming atmosphere and a sophisticated gastronomic offer. Great family moments full of excitement and good memories can be expected.
