Visiting Dubai is always a challenge and a pleasure: the diversity of options it presents to us, the dynamics of growth and the quality they deposit in everything they develop have continually attracted our attention. As in all metropolises, we always look for the best accommodation option that involves centrality, comfort and proximity to what we want to see and do.
The Four Seasons Hotel DIFC combines all the characteristics we look for in a city hotel, starting with the confidence that the brand inspires in us, combined with the location in the heart of the Financial District, 10 minutes by car from the main attractions, 15 minutes from the International airport and 10 minutes walk from “Emirates Towers” metro station. Its small size compared to the vast majority of hotels in the area (only 8 floors and 106 rooms) gives it a special charm, a boutique hotel signature that makes it even more exclusive.
The hotel has a total of 106 rooms divided into different categories, we stayed in a Junior Suite with a view of the city and the Burj Khalifa, which is large, luxurious, comfortable and with a stunning design, perfect for recovering from a long flight. iPads in the room and motorized curtains are among the offers, as well as a set of art pieces that add a special touch of refinement. As we arrived late, we opted to have dinner in our room, and that’s when the Four Seasons magic began, the quality of the meals and service (including speed) is impressive and is only surpassed by the fantastic welcome provided by the entire team, luxury has always people at its highest point.
After an excellent night’s sleep, in the morning we are welcomed at the Mina Brasserie restaurant with a breakfast buffet worthy of the cover of a specialty magazine. Juices and smoothies in vintage bottles, colorful and tasty cakes, perfect omelettes, divine pancakes, a variety of high-quality charcuterie and much more, the taste follows the appearance of everything. The dinner service at the Mina Brasserie is another of the highlights of the Four Seasons Hotel DIFC, the refinement and comfort of the room invites you to long haute cuisine dinners, where there is no shortage of Mediterranean-inspired successes: Michael Mina’s tuna tartare, tomato soup with cheese sandwiches, sautéed prawns, crab spaghetti or Wagyu Burger, all superbly executed by Portuguese chef Kevin Vieira.
On the upper floors we find the bars Luna Sky Bar, a rooftop lounge designed by Adam Tihany, with spectacular views of the Dubai Skyline, and the Churchill Club, a cigar bar offering a special selection of spirits and a tempting international snack menu. The rooftop pool is the perfect place to relax in the morning, between walks or even at the end of the day, partly covered in glass and supported by a bar and various rest areas, it is one of the most popular areas of the hotel.
We are fans of the beach and at the Four Seasons Hotel DIFC it is not a problem, we spent the day at the Four Seasons Dubai Jumeirah Beach and it was perfect, just go to the reception, request the transfer service and enjoy the excellent beach and services. The Four Seasons Hotel DIFC is the perfect base for exploring Dubai, location, services, design, privacy, cuisine and staff, a harmonious combination that deserves a 10 on our scale!
